Former Phoenix Police Chief Ruben Ortega has joined the board of directors for RepublicBankAz N.A., now being organized in Phoenix by Ernest Garfield, of Interstate Bank Developers. The bank will be located at 909 E. Missouri Ave, and has almost reached the $10 million mark with which it will open for business, say bank organizers.
