Alexander Boriqua joins the Children’s Museum of Phoenix as exhibits director.  He serves on the organization’s senior management team, and will lead the process to create exhibits for the museum, scheduled to open in late 2007.

Boriqua comes from Manhattan, where he was project director for Falcon Perspectives, a design and management firm. Prior to that, he was director of exhibition services at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan. He also served as exhibits developer/site coordinator for the New York Botanical Garden’s Everett Children’s Adventure Garden Project.

“Alex brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Children’s Museum of Phoenix,” said CMoP president and CEO, Deborah Gilpin. “He is a welcomed addition to our team as we continue our efforts to build a wonder-filled museum for our children.”
