Eugene Garcia joins NHU

eugene_garcia1Dr. Eugene Garcia, professor emeritus at Arizona State University and former dean of the Mary Lou Fulton College of Education, has accepted a position as Distinguished Professor of Research at The National Hispanic University (NHU) in San José, California. An expert in early childhood and bilingual education, Dr. Garcia will help develop and expand access to programs that address the skills and knowledge needed to prepare today’s professionals for the broadening demands of the field of early childhood education. He will also represent NHU as an advocate for early childhood education, and promote research at NHU designed to influence public policy and practice.
