Hone your skills at Piper Writers Studio
Need help getting that novel or memoir started? Want to tap into your inner poet? Here’s your chance. The Piper Writers Studio at ASU offers its spring classes beginning this month. Writers of all levels can sharpen their skills in poetry, fiction, and nonfiction at in-person classes and workshops at the Piper Writers House on ASU’s Tempe campus. The eight-week classes will meet Monday evenings 6:30–8:30 p.m. from Feb. 15 to April 5; one-day workshops will take place on Saturday, Feb. 20, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., lunch included. Online classes are also available. All classes are led by an experienced writer and teacher, and will culminate with a reading and celebration at the Piper Writers House. Eight-week sessions are $400, or $360 for Piper Friends; one-day workshops are $100, or $90 for Piper Friends. Learn more at www.asu.edu/piper, or call the Virginia G.
